Long U Bolt

 Technical Details:

• The Long U-Bolt is available is sizes ranging from 1/4" to 7/8". Each u-bolt includes 4 nuts. It is made from grade 304 stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance and durability, making it perfect for marine and industrial applications
• Extended pattern U Bolts are available off the shelf in mild steel zinc plate and A2 and A4 stainless steel with other materials available on request in BK MECHANICAL WORKS. Custom Extended U Bolts to drawing or customer specification can be manufactured to order.
• Also known as an extended leg U bolt, long tangent U bolt, or long U bolt, are similar to round U-bolts, with longer legs (or tangents) and more thread. The long legs on these are perfect for mounting to thick flanges. 
• These U bolts, are very similar to the standard pattern U bolt but have longer, to support pipe work such as gas, water or air conditioning piping that require more clearance than a standard U bolt would provide.  Extended U bolts are predominantly manufactured from mild steel or stainless steel grade 304 and 316 with other materials manufactured to order.
• As the name suggests, the Extended U bolt is essentially a single piece of mild or stainless steel bar that is threaded either side and then bent into the shape of a U.
